The Cat Ba Princess Junk was built entirely of wood, inspired by traditional fishing junks. 8:00 AM: Pick up at your hotel (in the Hanoi Old Quarter). Enjoy two and a half hour drive from Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay on the national highway No5B. Your journey will pass the series of villages and rice fields in the Red River Delta. Have a stop for drink and restroom. Continue driving to the harbor around noon, get warmly welcome at cruise reception.
12:15: The cruise starts at the port of Ben Beo of Cat Ba Island where you embark on board. After a welcome drink, the junk crosses the floating fishingvillage and then sneaks into Lan Ha Bay.
After an hour and a half of sailing, we arrive at the Three Peaches beach we drop anchor for a swim.
A lunch based on seafood is served, a small coffee or tea will be proposed by the crew, followed by a moment of relaxation on the deck or in the lounge.
A trip by kayak or boat to the Ca tunnel is offered. Once the tunnel crosses, you enter the lake totally surrounded by cliffs back on board. Our junk moves away from the tourist spots and we anchor for dinner and overnight in the bay.
After breakfast, the boat will continue its journey through thousands of sugar loaves emerging from the water. This changing landscape at any time through the fog and the bright sun will amaze you throughout your cruise. Lunch with seafood
In the afternoon, the junk returns to the village of Viet Hai where you take a bike ride to the village to discover the daily life of local people, those who live in fishing and gathering for generations in the national park.
Dinner and overnight on board
Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air and charming landscapes. We then depart for the beach Van Boi for swimming. Visit a fish pond in Lan Ha Bay.
10:00: Check out the cabins
11:00: Lunch is served on aboard then you will land definitively around noon at the port of BEN BEO.
Welcome by driver then follow the coastal road and take 25 minute on ferry back to main land. Take an other 2 and a half hour travel back to Hanoi on the new highway No 5B crossing the Red River Delta and villages. Drop off at your requested place (in the Hanoi Old Quater). End of the services.
